About Us

The Columbus Chapter of the American Marketing Association is composed of more than 250 marketing professionals from a wide variety of distinguished companies located in the Central Ohio area. Our programs offer professionals an opportunity to excel in the marketing realm and build relationships with other fellow marketers by creating an environment for learning and sharing new, up-to-date marketing trends and strategies. The Columbus AMA relies on high-level speakers from well-known companies and various marketing arenas to provide informative and beneficial programs that help marketers and those interested in marketing further their success in their marketing endeavors.

In Columbus, the chapter is proud of its accomplishments and successes to date -- earning Chapter of the Year status in 2001 and Signature Chapter status in 2002. In 2004, the Columbus chapter served as a model for the Board in a Box program developed by international headquarters in Chicago, a program which will provide leadership training for board members in the 74 other chapters in the United States and Canada.
