Annual Big Game Ad Review - It will be Super! On couches and stools across the US, we’ll anxiously bite our nails, waiting for each tantalizing element of game strategy. We’re not talking the line backers and tight-ends – we’re talking the REAL power punchers. The commercials. Now’s the chance for an official review... Commercial spots during the Super Bowl sold out before January as record prices! NBC reported that all commercial times for the 2012 Super Bowl sold out with an average cost per 30-second spot rising to $3.5 Million! At that cost, it has to be good to make its mark on the audience – so will the commercials be spectacular? Or, spectacularly awful? This year’s super-savvy panelists throw the flag to the best of the best, and call out the personal penalties. Bring your game face and join them to cheer and jeer at this year’s Big Game Ad Review. Chris Melissinos is Verisign’s Vice President of Corporate Marketing whose expertise will take a deeper look at the Metaverse and how our 'always on' connections are changing the rules of the game in internet security. His responsibilities at Verisign include the development of global campaigns, brand management, company messaging, press relations, and digital presence for Verisign, the trusted provider of Internet infrastructure services for the networked world. Incoming: The Baby Boomers, who have no excuse for delivering anything but brilliant, bold, ethical, and compassionate leadership as their core values guide our nation through the 2010s and 2020s. “But will they? Of direct interest to the American marketplace: such issues as marketing and advertising ethics; a possible improvement in consumer cynicism and distrust; greater leadership prominence of females and minorities; bold new undertakings by government and business; special focus on the aging of America; massive numbers of Boomers working long past traditional retirement and impacting the younger generations' careers; and much more. I'll explain.” About the Speaker Chuck Underwood is one of the pioneers in the field of generational study. Formally trained in qualitative research methodology and focus-group moderating by The Burke Institute, his clients include such giants as Procter & Gamble, Coca Cola, Macy’s, and others. He also conducts his own proprietary generational research to guide his work with The Generational Imperative, Inc. clients and is host of the PBS national-television series, America’s Generations With Chuck Underwood. Underwood provides consulting, research, and training to American business, government, education, and religion on the subjects of Generational Workplace Strategy and Generational Marketplace Strategy.
