Job Transition SIG

This special interest group is designed specifically for individuals in the fields of marketing, advertising, communications and public relations who are currently in transition. Our goal is to bring together individuals in these fields who have been recently displaced and/or are new to the field and are looking for employment. Individuals with all levels of experience are welcome – from the recent college graduate to the most seasoned veteran executive.

Come prepared to introduce yourself, tell a little bit about your background and what you are looking for. (This is also known as your “elevator speech”). Finish by telling the group how they can help you. For example, do you need contacts at specific companies? Do you have questions about your job search? Be sure to bring your business cards!

NOTE: There are two separate Job Transition group locations (East and North) that meet monthly.

When do the Job Transition Groups Meet?
Each location meets monthly from 7:00pm to 8:30pm. The North location meets the second Thursday of the month while the East location meets the fourth Tuesday of the month.
